Meet the Orthodontists

Dr. Jesse Arbon

Dr. Jess Arbon is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and graduated with highest distinction and honors in 2007. He continued his specialty training at UNC studying three additional years and obtaining a Master of Science degree along with completing his orthodontic residency in 2010. He continues to contribute academically lecturing to university orthodontic programs across the country. Dr. Jess is a member of numerous professional organizations, including:

• The American Association of Orthodontics
• North Carolina Dental Society
• American Dental Association
• Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society

He married his high school sweetheart, Ami, and they are the proud parents of four children. His hobbies include golf, coaching his kids' sports teams, spending time with his family and cheering for his Heels!

Dr. Jed Arbon

Dr. Jed Arbon is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He is originally from Utah and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science & Health from the University of Utah. He ventured east to attend the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and developed a love for Orthodontics and the Tar Heels. He continued his specialty training at the University of Iowa, obtaining his Master of Science degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Jed is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including:

• The American Association of Orthodontics
• North Carolina Dental Society
• Iowa Society of Orthodontics
• American Dental Association

Dr. Jed married his sweet wife, Molly, shortly before starting dental school. They have two wonderful children, Addie and Will. His hobbies include hanging out with his family, golfing, and pulling for the Cougs, Heels, and Hawks!

Dr. Brett Alvey

Dr. Brett Alvey is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. He continued his specialty training at the University of Washington in Seattle where he completed his residency and obtained his Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Brett is a member of numerous professional organizations, including:

• The American Association of Orthodontists
• North Carolina Association of Orthodontists
• College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics
• Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society

While in dental school, he met and married his wife Dr. Jenna. They have three wonderful children and enjoy spending their spare time watching sports (GO HEELS!)

Dr. Greice Oliveira

Dr. Greice Oliveira is originally from Brazil, where she received her DDS degree in 2004 before moving to the US. She arrived in North Carolina in 2006 and completed a Master of Science and Certificate in Operative Dentistry at the University of North Carolina, naturally turning into a Tar Heel. Go Heels! Dr. Greice joined academia in 2010 as faculty member at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, where she taught Operative Dentistry for many years. During that time, she developed a passion for Orthodontics and decided to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. In 2019, she completed a Master of Science and Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of North Carolina Orthodontics Department, and later obtained a US dental degree and license. Dr. Oliveira is a member of numerous professional organizations, including:

• The Southern Association of Orthodontists
• North Carolina Dental Society
• American Dental Association

Dr. Greice met her husband Gustavo while in dental school in Brazil, and they married shortly before moving to US. She loves spending time with her husband and their two wonderful children, Antonia and Cecilia. Dr. Greice enjoys outdoor activities, reading, watching TV shows, and learning about different cultures.

Dr. David Do, DMD, MD, MPH, MS

Dr. David Do, better known to his patients as Dr. Daviee, is a board-eligible orthodontist with a one-of-a-kind background in both medicine and dentistry. Born and raised in sunny Southern California, he first pursued a career in Family Medicine, earning both his MD and MPH before following his true passion for dentistry. He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry, finishing in the top 10 percent of his class and being inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Daviee furthered his training at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He is currently board-eligible and on track toward full board certification, demonstrating his commitment to clinical excellence and high standards of patient care.

Known for his approachable personality and warm bedside manner, Dr. Daviee believes orthodontics is about more than just creating beautiful smiles—it’s about building relationships, ensuring comfort, and supporting patients throughout their orthodontic journey.

Outside the office, Dr. Daviee enjoys life with his wife and their energetic four-year-old son. He is an avid Disney pin collector, enjoys participating in running events ranging from 5Ks to half marathons, and loves cooking and hosting family gatherings.

Dr. Daviee is excited to combine his medical knowledge, dental expertise, and compassionate care to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime.
